More than half a year is gone??? How has it been going for you?

For me…it implied another school year is finished. It was good bye to those precious little ones at the end of June.

There was also some unexpected turn of event like searching for a new house, moving out from the old place to moving in to my new and present place.
That took place around May- June instead of August ( as I shared in my previous update).

I am still full of gratitude toward our loving Father. He provided every needs and even guided me to look for my present apartment. It's been 2 months since I moved in and I am peacefully settled in my new apartment. I am also happy to be able to welcome guests/missionaries to rest at my place.

The month of July was the beginning of my school holidays and it was also the season for camp! Once again I helped out in Gateway camp . Although the majority of the participants were youth/young adults, there were a few families that were present. My part was to be with the children of those families.
Besides that, I helped my leader run workshops in the afternoon. Those workshops "Working with kids" were for the camp participants
.

During the camp, I saw God's grace and faithfulness over me. Again I can not stop thanking Him for taking care of me. He heard my cry when I felt isolated in this huge camp and brought on my path a few people to keep me company and encouragement. What was touching was those people who did not know me for a long time showed care and concern.

After the camp, I went on an outreach with families. In my experience of doing outreach, this is my second time being with families. There were about 4 families, including children/teenagers aged from 10 months to 18 years- It was an amazing time just going along with them. It was touching to see 2 years old child praying loudly to God, one of our teenager girl having the first time experience of hearing God's voice. And all of us going out to be a blessing to the people we met during the trip.
He places the solitary in families…(Psalm 68:6)

Another blessing I received during the camp was a free ticket to fly to Singapore. A dear friend from overseas knew that I wanted to visit Singapore. She knew that I was unable to do so because of financial strain, and so she offered to pay for a ticket for me! I was blown away by her kindness and am thankful to Father God for this gift.

Every good gift and every perfect (free, large, full) gift is from above; it comes down from the Father of all [that gives] light, in [the shining of] Whom there can be no variation [rising or setting] or shadow cast by His turning [as in an eclipse] (James 1: 17 Amplified version).

My time in Singapore was GREAT! Connecting with people…being invited for meals and talk, talk and talk!!!! I was refreshed by just being with friends whom I have not seen for some years.

NOW,I am back to Hong Kong. New beginnings??(yes indeed!).. challenges ahead of me?? (yes I can see that) ..uncertainties?? (yes, there are...)

Psalm 42:5; 43:5 (Amplified version)
Why are you cast down, O my inner self? And why should you moan over me and be disquieted within me? Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him, for I shall yet praise Him, my Help and my God

He.Only.Provides.Everything

There is HOPE. I want to pursue HIS purpose for my life. I know my call to work with children/youth. I am excited and passionate how HE is leading me and am determined to press on to be a blessings to the little ones here in my school and beyond!!
